As you may know, Charles Rangel is in critical condition. He has been life flighted to the medical center, is sedated, and is on a ventilator at the moment. We are hopeful for a full recovery once the heart surgery has taken place.

If you are not aware, Charles had a common cold that complicated his preconditioned heart failure that he was unaware of. In his heart, a tendon ruptured and there are two leaky valves. Surgery is eminent.

We have the best nurses and doctors looking after him to help him become stable. In this we kindly request to have no visitors at the moment as he heals and gains strength for his upcoming surgery.

We appreciate all the love, thoughts, and prayers everyone can send him. The outpour of this is moving and shows how everyone that knows him cares about him.

Charles has touched many people in his life by playing and coaching sports, supporting family and friends. Charles is full of life and love for so many in a way that we rarely see in a lifetime. Because so many people have asked on what they can do to help, we have set up this account for everyone who wants to take a part in his recovery.
