Charles' Chiari Battle: Your Support Needed

Our son Charles took a good fall a couple of weeks ago. He ended up having a concussion. So, we wanted to rule out any bleeding to his head. They did a CT scan and they ended up finding out that he has Chiari, which has made life a little bit different. Charles can only attend school half days for now. He is no longer able to do things that he used to do, like playing outside for long periods of time or climbing on things that any 3-year-old would like to do.

With us not meeting our deductible for our insurance, we have to pay out of pocket, which is $4,000 for both his MRIs—one for his head and one for his spine—which is happening on June 25th. This is not including time off that we will need for any more appointments and is not including the cost for his surgery. We can’t imagine not being able to be there with him during his recovery. Please aid our family as we need to be there for our little man. Charles is the sweetest little boy and his friends miss him. Thank you for your support during this time.
