My Name is Charles E. Benning Jr. 'C.B. Jr.' My Father's Beloved Fraternity Brother's OMEGA PSI PHI (I too am Mighty Man of OMEGA) asked me to create a way that they and others could make a monetary contribution in tribute to my Father. While I yearn for him to still be with us, I know that God never makes any mistakes. My Dad ('Scholar" his Omega Line Nick Name) leaves behind a proud legacy of serving and giving. He crossed the burning Sands of Omega Psi Phi (Delta Epsilon Chapter, Bowling Green State University, B.G., Ohio) in May of 1970 'THE MEAN 13' C.B. Sr.'s Line name was SCHOLAR. C.B. also was a Detective in the Cleveland Police Department, a founding member of the Cleveland Gang Unit, a past Worshipful Master for the Masons (William T. Boyd # 79 Lodge), and a Deacon at New Covenant Lutheran Church of East Cleveland. Sunrise October 29, 1950, Sunset November 20, 2023. MY FATHER WAS A TRUE SERVANT THAT LIVED HIS LIFE TO THE FULLEST.
