If you don't know who I am, my name is Nikita Kayyal-Lopez (and some of you know me as MJ). I am directing, starring in, writing, and editing a comedy action film in 2023.

I am a first-generation graduate from San Francisco State University in 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Cinema, and this is my first film as a graduate.

I am a Mexican, Middle Eastern/ Asian female who would like to step foot into the industry, and this is my opening statement into the film world. I am collaborating with many talented individuals with various identities, and this film provides a safe environment for minorities to express themselves in the film world. My film features women, people of color, and queer individuals in the cast and crew.

Now what you came here for, the film itself.

This film is titled Charles' Angelz, inspired by the hit series Charlie's Angels, with three plus-sized female characters named Summer, Kathy, and Janice, who are the worst spies on the force but they finally get a chance to potentially prove themselves.

This film will also feature a never before heard track by talented and upcoming Bay Area artist Mood.

You're probably wondering what your funds will go to. Your funds will provide food on set for the crew and cast, help pay for rental fees and permit fees for some filming locations, and provide funds for equipment rentals and insurance, props, costuming, makeup, promotional content, and potential entrance fees to film festivals.
