Hello, my name is Heather. I'm doing this on behalf of my mom, Charlene. The week of Christmas 2025, she went to the hospital. She thought that she had the flu. After all the testing, it came back that she had stage 4 liver cancer among other health problems. She has been doing radiation treatments every 3 weeks. Her doctor thought that he could manage it, but she went yesterday to see her doctor and do her treatments, only to find out the treatments are not working and she has about 6 months at best to live. Her dying wish before she gets too sick is to go to Juliette, Georgia, because she wants to go to Whistle Stop Cafe. If you've seen the movie, then you know why. So, I'm trying to fulfill her wishes.
