Hiii everyone, it’s meee (Sydnee) lol. Thanks for taking the time to come see what this is about. This is going to be a super vulnerable post and it’s not something I’ve shared with many yet, so bear with me. A few months ago my favorite woman in the world, aka my mommy, received a carcinoma insitu breast cancer diagnoses. Mom has always taught me not to panic in stressful situations, but my body took over when we got the news and tears rushed out of me without permission. Charlene is a high school guidance counselor who has been helping to guide young minds in the right direction as long as I can remember. She’s an AMAZING mother and friend and is one of three sisters who take care of my grandma who has dementia. I sincerely don’t know what we’d all do without her.
After some time and more tests we learned it is in fact curable; Hallelujah! Thus far, I’ve been by her side every step of the way and she does have a small village for support, but it’s been quite a journey already. The medical bills are already piling up between copays, procedures, testings, etc and this is before the cost of surgery and radiation. I try to be the best person I can, helping others as much and possible and I don’t ask for much from anyone. I get that from my mother. She doesn’t know I’m making this, but I know she’ll forgive me and feel loved and supported whatever the outcome.
Now has come the time for all the good deeds we’ve done and people we’ve helped along the way to hopefully come full circle. I am humbly asking for your help and support because closed mouths don’t get fed. My mom has done sooo much for so many. So it would mean the world to me to be able to help her take some of the financial stress off her back, so that she can just focus on her healing. Literally ANYTHING will help and we appreciate every penny, positive thought and prayer. If you read this far I love you and I appreciate you. Let’s do what we can to help Charlene; a selfless Queen who’s fed us all over the years lol. God is good, ALL THE TIME!
