Charlene Rosen's Medical Fund

On May 29, 2015, Charlene fell and suffered a severe brain injury. After 3 hours of emergency surgery, she was admitted to the critical care unit at Parker Adventist Hospital in Colorado. She remained on a ventilator and sedated for almost a week to allow her brain to begin to heal after surgery. They were finally able to lower her sedation and began to wean her off of the ventilator completely. She is now able to communicate with us, recognizing family and friends, walk sort distances with supervision using a walker, sit in a chair in her hospital room and has progressed from pureed to regular foods. Soon, she will be transferred to Spalding Rehab, an acute neurorehab hospital here in Colorado. She has come such a long way already but having suffered a TBI (traumatic brain injury), she still has a long road ahead of her. Many people have been praying for her and have asked how they can help support Charlene and Matthew during this difficult time. We have set up this GoFundMe page so that we can raise money to help them with their medical expenses. Any amount that you can contribute is so appreciated and will allow them to not worry about their growing medical expenses but rather focus on Charlene's recovery!
