Charlene's Kidney Transplant Recovery Fund

Update!!!  There's been a bump in the road to Charlene's kidney transplant. Her donor was a match, but Charlene's antibodies didn't quite match up with her donor, because her antibodies changed. They are looking into exchanging her donors kidney for a different donors kidney. She still has to make trips to San Antonio to stay on this program and will hopefully hear great news that they have found a perfect match. Charlene will have to start dialysis next week and then travel to San Antonio in a few weeks for more testing to stay on the program. She still needs our donations to make this happen. Hi, my cousin Charlene Carter, needs our help with lodging, food, and transportation while she is in San Antonio recovering from her kidney transplant.  She will have to stay in San Antonio for a month following the surgery.  She received a kidney 11 years ago, from a cadaver that is failing and she will soon have to go on dialysis full time, if she doesn't have a transplant, but God has blessed her with a friend who is a match for her kidney!!!  Charlene is 54 years old, with a lot of life ahead of her she is a mother of two sons, has a daughter in law, and three grandchildren and she would love to watch them grow up.  Charlene lives in Portales, New Mexico and she is a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, she would truly appreciate any and all help, including prayers while she is recovering from her kidney transplant.
