In loving memory of Charlene Schetter

This is a simple way to help relieve stress from her husband and children with the unexpected and tragic loss of their wife and mother.
Charlene had received a kidney transplant on February 14th 2019 and had been in good spirits healing, recovering and spending lots of time with her family over the last 15 months, thinking the worst was behind her. She had her up's and down's with her health since her immune system was not as strong after her surgery.
Mom was always a fighter. She had been sick for about a week and a half after being back from her travels and had spent all of 10 days in bed with the bedroom door closed, which was VERY unusual, however, she hadn't been feeling well and we (her family) wanted her to get rest and recover from being ill.
On July 8th, 2020, around 4 pm, mom informed me (her daughter) that mom and dad would be going to Corona Regional Medical Center, coincidentally, where she had worked for over 13 years, to get IV fluids, to treat her dehydration, which had been plaguing her for over 10 days.
She arrived at the hospital and received a multitude of tests, to diagnose her condition. Shortly thereafter, the doctors informed my dad that her system was out of whack and that they were going to try and save her kidney, because it was not functioning properly. Just a few hours later at 10:12 pm, she passed away unexpectedly due to cardiopulmonary arrest, at the young age of 61.
Charlene Schetter, born in 1959, passed away on July 8, 2020, leaving behind her loving husband, four sons and a daughter. Additionally, she is survived by her mother, two brothers and two sisters. She was passionate, selfless, and unyielding. She lived life to the fullest and never turned down the opportunity to go on new adventures. She had a passion for many things in her life, was loved by so many and will forever be a shining light. Prayers and words of comfort are greatly appreciated. If you feel inspired to make a contribution to help with her memorial/ funeral expenses, we have set up a gofundme account in honor of Charlene.
