We are the ICU team at Upper Chesapeake in Harford County, Maryland. This fundraiser is to support our amazing friend and colleague Mary Charlene Jones (Charlene). Charlene has been a nurse in the ICU for over 20 years. As an ICU nurse, she puts her heart and soul into caring for others.   As a mom & grandmom, she ensures her family understands the beauty of nature. She is an avid gardener, creek walker, & puddle jumper. Truly, Charlene is a gift to anyone that meets her.  We hope to provide some comfort in an otherwise very difficult time in her life.

Unfortunately our Charlene has been met with an unexpected event. In May of 2018, her skin biopsy came back positive for a rare & aggressive form of lymphoma (Delta Gamma T-cell Cutaneous Lymphoma). She not only needs an army of friends & family to back her up. She will need resources. This  will be an uphill battle involving chemo, radiation, and possible bone marrow transplant. Charlene will be traveling to U-Penn for treatment & advice to beat this rare cancer.
