Dear Friends and Family,

I hope this message finds you well! I’m reaching out to share an incredible opportunity that I have been blessed with and to ask for your support in making it possible. This October, I have the chance to go on an 8th-grade field trip to Washington, D.C., Gettysburg, Lancaster, and Philadelphia—where I will experience history, government, and faith in action firsthand.

This trip is more than just a journey—it’s an opportunity to learn, grow, and see God’s hand in shaping of our nation. Through this experience, I hope to gain a deeper understanding of our country’s history and the role faith has played in its foundation.

This trip is more than just sightseeing—it’s a chance for me to:

✅ Visit historic landmarks like the U.S. Capitol, White House, and Supreme Court

✅ Explore world-class museums, including the Smithsonian and National Museum of African American History & Culture

✅ Honor those who served at the Lincoln Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, and more

✅ Walk through the battlefields of Gettysburg, learning about the sacrifices made for our nation

✅ Experience the rich heritage of Lancaster and the faith-centered way of life of the Amish community

✅ Discover Philadelphia’s role in the founding of our country, including the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall

✅ Deepen my understanding of history, government, and civic engagement through a biblical lens

This trip means so much to me, but the cost—including travel, lodging, meals, and admissions—adds up quickly. I want to make sure I don’t miss out on this life-changing experience due to financial limitations.
