On Monday, November 16, 2020 our family lost our beloved Charlene Cummings Rodriguez.
Many of you may not have known, but she was dealing with chronic pain due to Osteoporosis as well as a benign tumor on her pituitary gland causing Cushings Disease. This disease explained her health issues & the doctors said after surgery & the right medication, she would have a full recovery. What a blessing! We were so thankful to finally find out the cause of her pain & that it wasn’t going to last forever.
The day before her passing, she was showing positive signs of recovery. However, God had other plans & early Monday morning, she had passed. Her heart had just been put through too much & just could not handle it any longer. Our family is still in a state of shock.
It gives us peace to know that she is safe with Our Heavenly Father & that after almost 21 years she is reunited with her loving husband, Tony. We know that she is in the ultimate place of Glory & in that, we find solace. We are just taking each day minute by minute.
This fund would help cover the costs of funeral & celebration of life arrangements as dealing with these financial struggles amidst Charlene's passing has been an additional weight on the family. We deeply appreciate any bit of help you may be able to provide. We know how much she genuinely enjoyed helping others so we thought this would be an appropriate way for her loved ones to honor her memory and give back.
Once the funeral plans have been solidified, Angelica will be announcing the details on Charlenes Facebook page. It will also be available on East Lawn Memorial's Obituaries - eastlawn.com. We are looking at the first or second Saturday in December. Details to come soon.
