Hi, I'm Jada Nuñez, granddaughter of Charlene Abdal. I am making this GoFundMe to help my family and I cover my grandmother's funeral in order for her to rest in peace.
My grandmother was my life and when she passed away I was devastated. She was an amazing person and hard worker. She worked for the Town Of Greenwich for 34 years as Executive Assistant for 11 different First Selectman. She has been considered the "heartbeat of Greenwich" by town officials or as Peter Tesei quoted in an article written, "Char, in many ways, is the fourth selectman," Aside from her many accomplishments, she was very well known, loved, and respected by residents of Greenwich who not only acknowledge her as a friend but as family.
In honor of my grandmother, we're hoping to reach our goal by this upcoming Thursday, December 8th, which would have marked her 64th birthday. These funds will help cover costs for funeral services.
