My siblings, my father and I have lost the most important person in our lives – Charla Volkov – an angelic mother and wife. Anyone who knew Charla saw that her eyes and energy were a window into the perfect spirit of what it means to be human: simple and unconditional love. Despite all of her pain and suffering, she always set it aside and offered her strength and comfort for anyone in need, like any good mama bear would. She died at age 61… far too young, but considering Charla had suffered from two extremely painful and debilitating diseases for more than 15 years, she has finally been released of her suffering.

We’ve reviewed our personal funds to meet the expectations of her will, which is to bury her near her mother in Riverside, CA. Though we all work very hard, unfortunately we are still not nearly as prepared as we needed to be. All funds will be used for mortuary/burial costs and travel expenses. Any donated amounts will be deeply meaningful.
