Charity’s Prosthetic Eye
Donation protected
I am Emily, Charity’s mom. At 2 months old, Charity was diagnosed with Familial Exudative Vitreo-Retnopathy, a progressive, genetic, retina disease. After three surgeries to attempt to reattach the retina in her left eye, she is totally blind in that eye, and the eye is becoming smaller, which could cause problems later. A prosthetic shell is needed to help open Charity’s eye lid and prevent any issues later. Insurance won’t cover the prosthetic shell. It will also be a 3-day process in Houston, Tx, so travel expenses are included in the amount needed. Any help is appreciated.
