On Saturday 26th July, we’ll be taking on the Yorkshire Tough Mudder. The event takes place at Broughton Hall Estate in Skipton and involves a 15km course packed with over 20 obstacles to conquer along the way. This includes steep hills and thick mud, water-filled ditches, and ice-cold plunges.
Some of the challenging obstacles include:
Arctic Enema – a freezing dip that shocks the system
Electroshock Therapy – wires delivering real electric shocks
Mudderhorn – a towering cargo net climb
Funky Monkey – a set of tricky monkey bars over cold water
Everest – a steep quarter-pipe
The aim is to raise funds for four incredible causes that are close to all our hearts:
Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity – providing life-saving care to thousands of young patients every year.
Support Dogs – training specialist assistance dogs for people with autism, epilepsy, and physical disabilities.
St Luke’s Hospice – providing compassionate end-of-life care to adults across Sheffield.
Alzheimer’s Society – leading the fight against dementia through vital research, support, and advocacy.
We’re hoping to push ourselves and raise as much money as we can for these four charities that make a huge difference in people’s lives. Every donation, no matter how small, will be split equally and go directly to helping support their vital work.
Thanks!
