Two years ago today I was given the news that I had stage three breast cancer. Following treatment, my recovery is going well and I am grateful for so much. But since that day, I have had a number of friends and family who have also faced a diagnosis of cancer. In fact, apparently 1 in 2 of us will in our lifetime.

To support those friends and family and the 1 in 2 of us who need support, advice and care in the face of cancer, I'd like to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. They work so hard offering practical and emotional help to all cancer patients and their families, making the road a slightly less scary and lonely one.

I will be trying to raise money by doing a wing walk. That's when you stand on top of a plane while it's flying! I may wear a bikini and do acrobatics. Or wear a boiler suit and be helped on and off. But either way I will be glorious and brave so I need your help!

I'm asking you to donate whatever you can afford. I know everyone is struggling at the moment, but I'm hoping a few quid here and there will make a difference.
