Charity sky dive for Cancer Research UK
Donation protected
In celebration of my 70th birthday, I’ve decided to take on a challenge I’ve been thinking about for a long time – a skydive. But I’m not just doing it for fun. I’m raising money for Cancer Research UK in memory of those we’ve lost and in support of those who have fought and survived cancer.
When people say they’ve been affected by cancer, I think about all those I know who have been affected by so many different types of cancer, including prostate, breast, bowel, colon, esophageal, testicular, pancreatic, womb, and brain cancer. Sadly I have known people who have had each of these cancers and many have lost their lives, while others have fought so bravely. This is my way of doing something positive in the face of that.
I’ve been planning this skydive in my mind for a long time, and now seems like the right time to take the plunge (pun intended!) and raise money for such an important cause.
Any donation you can make would be greatly appreciated and will go directly to Cancer Research UK to help fund vital research and treatments.
Thank you for your support.
