Charity Night Fundraiser
Cancer is a very real and devastating illness that unfortunately alot of us have had experience with either directly or amongst family and friends. As most people know, I lost a massive piece of my heart when my mam was taken too soon from us due to bowel cancer. Untill its right in front of you you think you and everyone else around you are invincible, but that is certainly not the case. Cancer is happening right now and we need to act right now to make a difference to give everyone a better chance for a positive outcome. My mam was one in a million, salt of the earth and was always there for anyone when they needed help. She was an advocate for all charities and did various events throughout her life to help those in need, as well as just being there as a shoulder to cry on, or even just a chat and a cuppa. I will continue to do the best I can to continue her legacy and help make a difference, in any small way.
Alone we can do so little: but together we can do so much. Thank you
CAUSE
Bowel cancer
Over the past 40 years there's been dramatic progress in tackling bowel cancer and half of people diagnosed will now survive for at least 10 years. But with bowel cancer still claiming around 43 lives each day, more research still needs to be done. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease.
