We have chosen to support Kerry in her support to raise funds for Sarcoma UK. This is a little bit about Kerrys story and why we have chose to support it!
Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. By supporting me, we can help change this.
Dad was diagnosed Around 2007 Synovial Sarcoma. Each year in the Uk less then 80 people are diagnosed with this particular type of Sarcoma.
As you can imagine with so few cases the knowledge to treat and cure this is limited. Despite this, not once did he give up. He was willing to put him self through medical trials, agreed to have his surgery filmed so surgeons could learn from him. Rarely did he complain. All throughout his goal was to fight, to live and to help others.
His journey has inspired me to keep going no matter what. If you get knocked down you get right back up and never give up.
2025 marks 10 years since he lost his fight and I am determined to do something challenging, mentally and physically to honour his bravery.
So any thing that you can give to such a great cause it will be apprecatied.
We are in support with Kerry and know you guys are too!
