Sadaqah Jariyah - Charity Well for Ramadan Ahmed

Salaam and peace be to you all. My dear cousin, Ramadan Ahmed has passed away in Seattle on March 22, 2020. Ramadan was the most kind hearted and calmest soul I’ve ever met. From the basic necessities of food and shelter to being able to celebrate his birthday, Ramadan was always so humble and grateful. He wanted to do more in this world for himself, for his family and those around him; he was on that path until his life was lost unjustly.
I understand we’re in the middle of a pandemic and many people are getting laid off and don’t have a source of income but I am asking you, please donate whatever you can and help us start a charity project (Sadaqah Jariah) in his name. Whatever you can donate is highly appreciated and remember what goes around comes around, no good deed goes unnoticed.
May Allah (swt) have mercy on Ramadan’s soul. May Allah (swt) grant him with the highest of heavens. May Allah (swt) bring him comfort, ease and light in his grave. May Allah (swt) make this easy for my family and reunite us all in Jannatul Firdaws.
All the allocated funds will go directly to the development of a water well in either Yemen or East Africa through the Deham Foundation (@dehamfdn). Islam teaches us that “The best charity is giving water to drink.” Through the Deham foundation, we plan to do this in Ramadan’s name, God willingly. I’ve added Deham’s social media and website for you below to see their previous work. From their past experience, the average cost is anywhere from $3300-3700 USD which is roughly around $4700-5200 CAD. I will be posting updates and keeping you notified on the development of the water well.
