On 30 May 2026, Croes Howell Casuals FC face Wrexham Armed Forces Veterans FC at Llay Welfare, Wrexham. Kick off 12:00. This fixture brings together two sides rooted in discipline, community, and service, to support a cause that sits at the centre of the Wrexham football community.

This is local football doing what it does best. Turning out, backing its own, and driving support where it matters. Clubs, players, supporters, veterans, and families all tied into one purpose. The same community that fills pitches every weekend now backing families facing the hardest situations.

Hope House Children’s Hospices provide specialist nursing care and support to children and their families across Shropshire, Cheshire and Wales. They support families caring for a child with a life threatening condition and those whose child has died. Their mission is to reach every child in their area who needs this care, improve quality of life, and raise the funds required to sustain it.

What the event delivers:
