Charity Event In Loving Memory of Ali Dar

Ali Dar was taken far too soon. A loving husband, father, son and friend, he always knew how to put a smile on anyone’s face. He was someone that people respected, someone that people looked up to and could always count on. Ali was selfless and would always go above and beyond to help people.

 

He suddenly passed away on September 1st, 2021.

 

Ali was passionate about his two kids as well as sports. He wanted his children to be involved in organized sports since it was a big part of his and his brothers’ lives growing up and would always speak about how beneficial it was for him. He was looking forward to coaching sports teams when he had more spare time in the future. He would have been an amazing mentor and coach for his two children as well as others. Ali was a diehard Toronto Raptors fan, so we have come together on behalf of his wife Patti and two children Zayn and Talia, to create a GoFundMe in memory of Ali and in hopes to raise money for the MLSE Foundation which works with the Raptors to provide equitable access to sports for kids in Ontario. Since launching in December 2009, the MLSE Foundation has invested more than $45 million into Ontario communities. Using the power of sport as a unifying force. They are committed to helping youth reach their potential and creating more equal playing fields for all. Their mission is to improve the lives of youth by building facilities, giving to sustainable programs and empowering youth through sport and recreation.

 

Let’s come together to leave a lasting memory of how loved this amazing, hardworking, kind man was.
