After hanging up our dancing shoes years ago me, my sister and some of our dancing girls are taking part in one last charity dance competition with MCIAP on 5th July to raise money for the Willow Foundation in memory of my brother, Ben Wrigley, who passed away from a Glioblastoma 18 months ago at just 33 years old.
Ben loved music. He was kind, fun, caring, and truly one of the best people in the world. He put up the fight of a true hero.
We miss him every single day.
During his battle with cancer, the Willow Foundation gave Ben a beautiful day and an experience we will treasure forever. They covered everything, so that the focus was entirely on making memories with him. They even made sure his little boy, Jacob, was included. Those moments meant more than words can express, and we are endlessly grateful that Ben was able to have that joy before he died.
We’re dancing to honour his memory and to give back to the charity that gave him something priceless. Every donation, no matter the size, will help the Willow Foundation continue supporting young people facing serious illness and give more families the chance to create lasting memories.
Thank you for supporting us, for supporting this incredible charity, and for helping us keep Ben’s spirit alive.
You will always be our hero Ben
