Charity climb for Acorn childrens Hospice
Hi, my name is AJ and this climb is more than just a physical challenge,it's a symbol of personal growth, resilience, and purpose.
Over the last few years ,I’ve been on my own journey of transformation. Like many people, I’ve faced my share of struggles—both physically and mentally. Setting goals around fitness and wellbeing has helped me rebuild confidence, find focus, and push past limits I once thought I couldn’t overcome.
This year on the 17/18th July , I’m taking on one of the UK’s most iconic challenges—climbing Scarfell pike the highest mountain in England—not just for the thrill of the ascent or reaching the summit but for something far greater. I’m doing it to raise funds and awareness for Acorn Hospice, a charity that provides comfort, dignity, and compassionate care to individuals and families facing the end of life.
Acorn Hospice offers more than medical support—they offer peace in the most difficult moments, and help families create lasting memories during precious time together. Their work is both deeply human and profoundly important, and it deserves all the support we can give.
Every step I take up Scafell Pike is in honor of those who can no longer make that climb, and for the families who walk a different kind of mountain every day. My goal is to raise £1000 to support the hospice’s ongoing mission—and I would be so grateful for your help.
No donation is too small. Each contribution helps Acorn continue to offer compassionate end-of-life care when it’s needed most. Together, we can make this climb mean something truly lasting.
Thank you for standing with me—and with Acorn Hospice.
