Charitable Donation for Liz Choi's Farewell

Hello Team - We are collecting charitable funds for Career Trek (https://careertrek.ca/) on behalf of Liz Choi as part of her farewell from ECG - Robertson. ECG - Robertson will match the amount donated by employees/contractors and present this donation to Liz at her on-campus farewell events next week.

Liz has always had a deep passion for giving back and making a positive impact in her community. Her commitment to supporting nonprofits stems from a strong belief in the power of collective action and generosity to bring about meaningful change. Over the years, Liz has actively contributed to various charitable initiatives, often going above and beyond to inspire others to get involved. Her unwavering dedication to helping others continues to be a driving force in who she is and the values she (and ECG-Robertson) has.

Career Trek works with children from marginalized communities, providing career training to raise awareness about the importance of post-secondary education. Their mandate encompasses services for inner-city and northern regions. Liz used to work at Career Trek when she was in university and reconnected with the Career Trek team a decade ago. She has been offering support to their organization since this time. She feels that knowledge and experience are invaluable forms of wealth - especially for children (and who can argue with that!).

There is no obligation to donate. If you decide to donate, the amount is completely up to you. You can also make the amount anonymous but clicking on the anonymous option when submitting your donation. Every amount - big or small - makes a difference! We will be collecting donations until 8:00 am CT on Thursday, January 16.
