The Charisse Williams Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser
Honoring a Life of Selflessness, Creativity, and Love
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Charisse Williams, who left this world far too soon after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Diagnosed in September 2024, Charisse met every challenge with grace, strength, and an unshakable spirit.
Born on November 2, 1979, and raised in Burlington, New Jersey, Charisse brought light and joy to everyone she met. She had a true passion for life—whether she was baking one of her famous treats, crafting something beautiful by hand, making her own wine, or hosting friends and family with her signature warmth and humor. Music filled her days, and laughter followed wherever she went.
But more than anything, Charisse was selfless. She lived not just for herself, but for others. She showed up when it mattered. She gave generously—with her time, her talents, her heart—and never expected anything in return. Her kindness was quiet, steady, and deeply felt by all who knew her.
Charisse Williams was the best kind of friend—one who didn’t just show up, but stayed. She was the glue that held people together, always ensuring that every milestone and life event was celebrated. Charisse was a loving niece, a devoted cousin, a treasured godmother, and a model employee who turned colleagues into lifelong friends. She truly embodied what it means to care selflessly and to love unconditionally.
Charisse had a rare and beautiful gift: she made everyone feel seen, valued, and safe. She led with humility, grace, and quiet strength—leaving a lasting imprint on every life she touched. Her heart was unmatched, and her love will continue to live on in all of us.
Charisse married her high school sweetheart, Kyle Williams, in a beautiful ceremony at their home in Beverly, NJ—a celebration that reflected everything she was: joyful, genuine, and full of heart, as she became one with her best friend.
To honor her memory and the vibrant life she lived, we are establishing the Charisse Williams Memorial Scholarship Fund—a lasting tribute to a woman who dedicated her life to uplifting others. This fund will provide scholarships to creative young women pursuing higher education, especially those who embody Charisse’s spirit of generosity, artistry, and compassion.
We invite you to give what you can. Whether you knew Charisse personally or were moved by her story, your donation will help ensure her beautiful legacy lives on by empowering future generations of women to follow their passions, just as Charisse did.
