Charisma Holt's Medical Expenses

Charisma Holt, my friend of many years, needs our help. She fractured both ankles in a freak accident on Derby Eve, May 6th. She required surgery which reinforced her right ankle with a plate and eight screws. Her left ankle did not require surgery but will take weeks to heal. She is now basically incapacitated while recovering.

Besides these unexpected challenges, Charisma now faces a financial crisis. Her health insurance coverage will leave her with at least $8000 in out-of-pocket medical expenses. She cannot earn a living during her road to recovery. Charisma is an independent contractor providing production assistance to promoters and venues in Louisville and other cities. She can’t perform her services and has no sick leave or other time off to rely on.

Charisma has always held two and three jobs at a time. She brings enthusiasm and good cheer to all her endeavors. I know that she has many friends and many supporters from a variety of professions in and out of the entertainment industry. I hope you will join me in supporting Charisma through this financial and personal crisis. All funds donated will go directly to offset any medical expenses not covered by her insurance.
