Hello! My name is Joy and I am fundraising to enable my participation in a student mission team as part of the 2nd year of study at Charis Bible College in Yorkshire.

I have the privilege of being a member of the March 2026 mission team to Kyustendil, Bulgaria. The team will be ministering to Roma people in their churches and communities, serving alongside the International Fellowship of St John (IFOSJ) already working there (website: ifosj.com).

IFOSJ is engaged in a number of projects to:

* establish healthy, community engaged churches in the Balkans

* train Christian leaders in their Bible School

* feed the hungry from their Pure Farm, which also educates in good farming methods

* invest in young women at risk of human trafficking

* help Foster Parents

Each of these avenues makes a real difference in the lives of a people where poverty levels are particularly high, with all the associated difficulties. IFOSJ is working to create a brighter future for everyone - one filled with hope, equality and opportunity.
