Charger Great Paul Lowe
Donation protected
Chargers great Paul Lowe badly needs your help. The former MVP of the old AFL has brain damage from his playing days and has a terrible time getting by each day. In addition to moderate dementia, Paul has recently suffered the loss of two great grandchildren and the loss of his daughter a few months ago. If that is not enough, Paul has prostate cancer.
The NFL has offered to award Paul a small amount and he has signed all the papers. To date however he has not seen a dime.
The Chargers built a dominate championship locker room with Lowe playing alongside stars like Lance Alworth, Ron Mix, Ernie Ladd and Keith Lincoln. During those championship years, Lowe never made more than $37,000 a season.
Maybe the best siren call for your financial help comes from Paul. "I don't know what to say, what to do, where to go." Just not where a great person and former Charger star should be at 81 years old.
