After graduating from Baylor, Charese moved to Houston, Texas where she got a job with Simmons and Company International. She worked for Simmons until 2018. Charese continued to be involved with the Baylor Alumni, attending events and games. She loved all things Baylor and was a strong supporter throughout her life.
Charese loved her family and friends. She loved good food and to travel. Charese took up running and cycling for a time and even participated in the Boulder 10k in 2009.
