Charanjit Singh (SONU)

Hi, my name is Jazz. Sadly we lost someone very dear to us, whom we treated like a brother and who has been with H&S for 14+ years … Charanjit Singh who we all knew as Sonu passed away on 17th January 2024. He came to the UK 20 years ago to earn a living and support his parents and 6 sisters back home in India. Sonu spent his whole life working and taking responsibility for his family and others … he yearned to return back home but unfortunately his wish will never be fulfilled.

He was a bubbly, funny, honest and a hardworking individual with a heart of gold, he spent his life working away and never got to see the outside world and enjoy life for what it is. He was known by many and him passing away at a young age was a huge shock for us all.

His wish was always to go back home to his village and see his growing family, we now want to arrange for his now last wish to come true, and are raising money to fly his body back to India for his final resting place and for his elderly parents and sisters who are desperate to see him.

We would also like to support his elderly parents financially with expenses back home. So whatever is raised will also go towards supporting them.

Sonu dedicated his life to others around him and now we would like to ask for everyone’s help to fulfill his last wish.
