ΒΓ Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta 1848 Fundraiser

Donation protected
The money raised will be utilized in the chapter’s efforts to win the Cheney Cup, among any other awards that the fraternity can pick up along the way. Going for these awards takes money, and a lot of the chapters that end up winning these awards year after year, have tens to thousands of dollars backing their efforts. The money that will be raised through this fundraiser will be utilized in creating programs and events that keep our scholarship, service, and philanthropy on the track that it needs to be. An example of this could be our new scholarship raffle, that allows brothers to turn their good grades and high GPA’s into tickets that can win them high value prizes. Another example could be the posters, tables, and equipment we need to hold booths for numerous philanthropy and community service events; we have multiple in the works for this upcoming semester alone. Some of the events we may have to rent out a room or space of some sort to be able to hold the event as well. The chapter needs some help in getting the equipment we need, and the incentives that we want to produce. 1848 dollars will help immensely in these aspects, and will allow the chapter some leeway from using all of the money we get from dues. Ive have written an approximation of where the money will go for each category at the bottom. If you would rather donate any items that could help us with any events like FIJI memorabilia or gear, tables, chairs, posters, etc. please email me. My email will be provided in the Facebook post. We thank you brothers for any donations you would be willing to make and are excited to see you all at our next pig dinner!

$600 - Scholarship Raffle
Students earn a certain amount of tickets depending on their grades to enter them into a raffle to win prizes such as FIJI merch, gift cards, and other prizes.

$600 - Philanthropy Events
We have several philanthropy events planned including a Jean-a-thon to make dog toys for a local animal shelter, philanthropy dinner where proceeds go to USO,  and a Hotdog stand in dowtown Bowling Green where proceeds also go to USO.

$300 - Community Service
We plan on doing several community service and making donations to these organizations. These organizations include Adopt a Highway, Brown Bag, and local food pantries.

$300 or more - Fraternity Funds

The remainder of the money will go towards along with our fraternity dues for paying for expenses like our house parlor fee, members insurance, and pig dinner.
