C.H.A.P.S. is a short film that dives into the hustle behind the heist, set against the gritty, authentic backdrop of Philadelphia. After over two years of writing, our director Jackson Self has crafted a character rich world where the main characters (your pals, classmates, and neighborhood chaps) face the pivotal moment that could launch their criminal careers for better or worse. We want to bring a sense of realism and depth to the screen that audiences aren’t used to seeing, making Philadelphia itself a vital part of the story’s atmosphere.

Our team is made up of passionate filmmakers and friends: I’m Thiago, the producer, working alongside Jackson Self (director), Ean Mealey (director of photography), and Owen Bush (production designer). This project is the culmination of our college film careers and represents years of collaboration, creativity, and growth. We’ve poured our hearts into C.H.A.P.S., and now we’re asking for your support to help us bring it to life.
