Chapman Thesis Film 'my face is not my own'
Donation protected
As a storyteller and as someone who has lost a family member to Alzheimer's, I am fascinated by how this disease forces families to grieve loved ones before they are actually 'gone.' Our thesis film seeks to explore this experience.
My name is Claire, and I am a senior film production major at Chapman University. This spring, I am shooting my senior thesis titled 'my face is not my own.'
This project is based on my personal experiences as a child visiting my grandmother. I was close with my Granny until, eventually, she could not remember who I was. I hope to use this film to visually express this experience and honor my grandmother's memory. I also hope to spread awareness of issues pertaining to Alzheimer's and tell a story that people can connect with.
Join us on the journey to bringing this film to life. Together, we can make something spectacular!
