Chaplain and Jayden

By now most of you heard about the fire in Rock Hill on Friday that displaced a number of tenants. Unfortunately my Godfather Chaplain Daryl Lee Christopher Pina and my son Jayden were affected. Chaplain suffered 2nd degree burns in his forehead and arm and in a lot of pain. We are hoping he will be well enough to be discharged by Monday.

To those who do not know Chaplain, he is the living example of selfless living for God. At a young age he dedicated his life to service for Jesus by helping the youth of NYC. He chose to be single so he could dedicate 100% for others. He took in many young broken teenagers and clothed them, fed them, put a roof over their heads, hugged them , loved them and gave them spiritual guidance. I was one of these kids. He has been a dad to me and my kids papa since they were born.

The fire took all their earthly belongings and sadly our cat , Mavis.

Even their cars were melted thru.

Most likely it will take a year to rebuild.

As you can imagine it’s very emotional time for Chaplain and everyone involved.
