Welcome to the Chantilly High School Indoor Drumline GoFundMe project!!
The Chantilly High School Indoor Drumline is dedicated to offering an incredible music experience to all student musicians. These dedicated students spend countless hours after school and on weekends working together to perfect their show and showcase their talent by performing in various competitions. The bond that they form through their music is one that will last a lifetime.
With very limited funding from the school district, the cost of participating in Drumline falls squarely on the families of the students. The total for the season for each student is typically $700, with an additional cost of about $550 for the end of season World Championships in Dayton, OH. Our goal to is to make sure that this memorable experience is available to ANY student who wants to participate, regardless of their family's ability to pay.
Another challenge is a constant struggle with aging equipment. We need to replace several instruments; snares, marimbas and vibraphones some of which are almost 20 years old. These instruments cost thousands of dollars.
Amid an increasingly difficult financial environment, we are reaching out to our alumni, friends, family members and other supporters for help so we can enable the students to release their creative energy with music and dance for the 2019 season and beyond!
With every tax-deductible donation, no matter what the amount is, you are helping us provide these dedicated students with an extremely valuable experience and carry on the proud tradition of the Chantilly High School Drumline.
