Hello all, Chante here. Child of God, mother of 3, former radio personality, and consistent optimist. After a year of evaluations, misdiagnoses, and overlooked symptoms, I have been diagnosed with Neuropsychiatric Lupus co-occurring with Stiff Person Syndrome. These autoimmune diseases affect my ability to walk, stand, and some days move altogether. On the neurological side, my ability to remember, speak, and use simple cognitive skills has declined. The life as I knew it has taken a full 360. I'm no longer able to work in the award-winning capacity that I'm used to because of my memory and speech. With that inability comes my inability to provide for my family. Rent, food, transportation fees (since I'm advised not to drive) are little to none. I'm asking for any help. Anything so I can still provide a sense of normalcy.
Thank you
