Hi my name is Chantel Haywood, I’m a mother of 2 beautiful children, Henley (5) and Bence (2), a wife to an amazing husband Matthew and also a Labor and delivery RN. Sadly, I was recently diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer . It happens to 1 in 5 people and most are under the age of 40. Triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a rare and aggressive form of cancer that is not receptive to hormones or targeted therapy. Chemotherapy is the first line of treatment, followed by a lumpectomy or mastectomy. My oncologist has decided to put me on medical leave from my job and since I recently started working full time all my disability benefits are still being decided. I am unsure if I will be getting paid while I am off. This is s huge financial stress. The funds will be used for our accumulating medical bills. We are so thankful you are here.
