In Loving Memory of Toots. ❤️

Hi, my name is Rocky & I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read our story.

Last month our family was truly blindsided by the sudden loss of our Chantelle, lovingly known as Toots, who gained her angel wings 03.04.25 - forever 17.

Toots was no stranger to a hospital visit, procedure or tests due to her complex medical needs, but her smile never faltered… even when the hospital visits turned to admissions spanning from days to months at a time. The last 3 years, emotionally drained us all, due to multiple intubations needed, but Toots always came through fighting. Our Warrior Princess.

The loss is undoubtedly immeasurable, I’m fundraising in the hopes of easing the financial burden of life whilst my brother & sister in law adjust to a world beyond their recognition. They spent every day of Toot’s life single handedly devoted to her & championing her needs, wants & desires. For 17 years, they were consistently by Toot’s side, no carers, respite or charities had any involvement, because time spent together as a family is a gift and there was no greater gift than the love Toots gave to her incredible parents, as strenuous & exhausting as daily life could be, to their credit they didn’t miss a single second of her life.

I am so incredibly proud of the level of dignity, strength & grace they both have shown whilst navigating the impossible winding road of grief.
