I want to send a huge thank you to each and every one that has donated, prayed, and sent well wishes. Channing is progressing forward and has started out patient therapy. He was humbled and emotional when he saw the outpouring of love from “ The McNair Family” and we are grateful and appreciative as his family. He still has months of therapy and recovery but he will overcome. Please continue to pray for a continued recovery.

Hi, my name is Kim Newman. I am the wife of Channing Newman. On January 6, 2023, Channing survived a stroke. They were able to stabilize him which took about five days and then he was moved to an inpatient rehabilitation hospital because he is paralyzed on his right side. He has made progress but will not be able to return to work for a while. He usually works by teaching summer school. I am hoping and praying to help him be able to recover, heal, and continue working on his therapy. PT and OT. He is such a wonderful teacher, mentor, husband, dad, and friend to many. I want one less worry for him while he takes his time to heal. He is such a fighter and I know he will overcome this obstacle! Thanks for listening to his story. God Bless!
