On Dec 2 , Chan suffered a massive stroke. He was life flighted from a local hospital to OSU (The Ohio State University) for life saving surgery.  They cut open his skull to relieve the swelling on his brain. The doctors said the surgery went well.  He was sedated in order to heal.  He is now awake, breathing tube has been removed and he is breathing on his own!!!! Chan is improving everyday but has a very, long road ahead of him.
