Chan's Leukemia Fund

Recently, the Forge's owner, Chan Simpson, announced that due to his battle with cancer,  he would need to retire as the owner of the Forge. Chan will need to travel to a specialty center to see a doctor that has experience with his specific case. 

Chan has consistently worked hard to give us a venue that is easily accessible to event organizers, and has a great atmosphere for competitors. He has provided the Forge with a dedicated stream setup, monitors, space for CRTs to be kept, and setups for a variety of games. The Forge has been a wonderful venue to organize a variety of tournaments and hang out with friends throughout the week or during one of the Forge's awesome all-nighters. Chan has been a great asset to many communities within Richmond, especially Smash. I cannot say enough great things about Chan and the Forge, and how much they've both meant to Richmond Smash.

As a thank you for his hard work, this gofundme has been set up to donate to Chan's battle with cancer. Donations will go directly to Chan, and will be used for any expenses he incurs throughout this process, including travel, medical treatment, and living expenses.
