Contributed to changing the lives of Sohad and Salam Hammad by supporting their education and their job

Hi everyone, this is our story in a few words.

Fortunately, we still remember our names and ages Sohad Hammad 23 years old, and Salam Hammad 21 years old.

Being from northern Gaza means that we have lived through war, aggression, siege, massacre, pain, loss, torment, and also “death”, which life here forces you to look at with your own eyes.

We can also remember that Sohad is a graduate of the Faculty of IT specialization of mobile computing and smart devices applications, while Salam still in its fourth level, the last year of the bachelor's degree of the same college.

As October approached, the catastrophic chapters of this story dramatically unfolded.

It fills our hearts with darkness every moment we open our phone galleries and scrolling up to that promising life where we no longer belong.

Pursuing our education with a good scholarship was always our goal which we believed would be achieved but due to the complete destruction of the Islamic University, could not Sohad registered and started studying for a master's degree, and Salam was no longer able to finish the last year of study and graduate from the university.

We were working and training in a company inside “Al Watan tower”, which is one of the largest towers housing software companies in Gaza, where we were mixing commitment and fun, dreaming of a better future. But once our company became a target and was completely destroyed, our business was shattered as well as our dreams, leaving us heartless and soulless.

We are not numbers.

Remember, despite the difficulties we face in Gaza and the challenges we face with courage, we always realize that our story is a small part of the stories of 2.2 million people who face difficulties and struggle to survival in harsh conditions.
