Changing career paths, please help me start a new life

Hello!

My name is Sascha and I've been working as a translator/transcriptionist/editor/writer for the past 10 years. With the advent of AI, however, my business has started to dry up. On top of that, I've been sick multiple times in the past few years and as a result of that I wasn't able to work as much.

I'm currently applying for Social Benefits, but bureaucracy over here causes all of this to take way too long and now I'm struggling to get by, which in turn causes more stress and that in turn just increases the risk of me getting sick again.

I want to change my life and for that I need a little help so I can focus on learning something new and changing my career for good without feeling like I'm constantly drowned in bills and being scared of ending up homeless. I love writing, and I love RPG's, and I've already dabbled in Game Design when I was rather young. I'd love to give it a shot at becoming a Game Designer myself and I have already started to learn UE5 in my spare time. I'd be really, REALLY grateful for any help I can get. For those interested I could also tell a little about the games I'm planning to make. I think they have a lot of potential and I always do my best when I work on something.

I'll also leave a link to my freelancer profile, so everyone can get an idea of my work ethics. I really am a hard worker, I've just gone through a very bad phase in my life and whenever I felt like I'm getting out if this bad streak, something else seemed to keep piling on me.

Small update: Unfortunately my social benefits still haven't come through and I can no longer pay my rent, which means starting tomorrow I'll be homeless :(
