My name is Christine Russo, and I am raising funds for my nonprofit, Change the Game for Dom Foundation, created in honor of my little brother, Dominic Russo, and his friend, Davion, whose lives were tragically taken in 2022.

Through this foundation, we are determined to turn pain into purpose by helping underprivileged children gain access to the game Dom loved most — basketball. Our mission is to provide kids in need with new basketball shoes, equipment, uniforms, and opportunities they may not otherwise have. We hope to sponsor teams, support local leagues, and ensure that financial hardship never stops a child from playing the sport they love.

Change The Game For Don Foundation is a nonprofit organization preparing to apply for federal tax-exempt recognition under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Because our application has not yet been approved by the IRS, donations are not currently guaranteed to be tax-deductible.

If our application is filed timely and approved by the IRS, contributions may be eligible for tax-deductible treatment retroactive to the date allowed by the IRS. Please consult your tax advisor regarding your individual situation.
