Did you know diapers are the single most requested item at food banks and shelters? People don't always know that they are NOT covered by food stamps. Add in that diaper prices have increased by 30% over the last 5 years, and the average baby uses 3,000 diapers per year! Numerous studies show that parents facing diaper shortages are more likely to experience anxiety and depression, and it affects their confidence in parenting their baby.
With the holidays approaching, let's help some families use funds in a different way, and assist in covering this basic need.
