A couple of weeks ago, Chanel started limping really bad. I took her to the vet, got some meds, did some rest; the limp got better but was still there, some good days, some bad. We had a follow-up appointment today, 6/23. We learned Chanel tore her CCL (ACL for humans) and the recommendation is surgery. Without surgery, she's looking at lifelong pain, limping, and the development of arthritis in her leg. The estimate is $5,350 for the surgery, therapy, medication, etc. Absolutely anything will help. Two surgeries for her in a 6-7 month period was NOT in my 2025 bingo card.
