Chandra Goodman Battles Stage 4 Cancer - 4th Time
Donation protected
Everyone who knows my sister Chandra, knows that she is the most selfless, giving, and Christlike woman. She is a light to all. Chandra is battling breast cancer for the 4th time. This time it has spread to her brain and her bone, so it's stage 4 breast cancer. We would love to give back to her and help relieve the financial burden upon her and her family so that they can focus on her healing. The funds will go towards her medical bills and homeopathic healing. A little bit goes a long way. If you aren't in a situation where you have any monetary donation, prayers are always appreciated. Thank you SO much for all of your prayers and support, we are praying for a miracle
UPDATE! From Chandra’s Facebook post: “It's been quite a whirlwind the last couple days. On Wednesday morning I had a doctor appointment with my oncologist. I felt dizzy and my legs hurt extra bad than my normal hurt. By the time I got to the appointment, I was feeling like I may pass out. They got me a room right away to sit down but I started blacking out and crying. Everything hurt and I felt miserable. My amazing team (Tanner, Dr Polowy and his nurse) wheeled me out nextdoor to Banner Desert and got me a room in the ER right away. They got me on pain meds and helped stabilize me.
Within the next 48 hours I did tons of tests and scans. The scan results came back and I have a new brain tumor approx 1.5cm and the spine scan came back with a lot of scattered little spots similar to what salt & pepper look like down my spine.
My doctor's have diagnosed me with Leptomeningeal Carcinomatosis which is a rare complication of cancer in which the disease spreads to the membranes (meninges) surrounding the brain and spinal cord. It is extremely serious.
They just sent me in an ambulance to Banner University Hospital in DT Phoenix. I arrived safe and sound and my room is beautiful. I'm on the top floor and have an amazing view of the city lights.
We made the mistake of Googling the condition and it is so terrifying but we are placing our faith 100% in God's plan for me. Most of you know I received a very direct and spiritual answer last year after months of asking God if I will survive and be healed. I had to bring myself to completely allow God to take me if it was His will. After getting to the point of having the faith NOT to be healed was the turning point and within a month of being at peace with it was when I received the answer that "In order to recieve my miracle of healing, I need to heal my heart ❤️
I've been working on healing daily since that day and I have no doubt God will hold His promise to me if I apply my faith and show effort.
At this time I am asking each of you to please pray extra hard for me tonight and for the coming days. I'll share more later. I have so much faith in the power of prayer in numbers. Thanks for the love and prayers ❤️”
