Yesterday was the kind of day no parent is ever prepared for. In one heartbreaking moment, both of my children, Chandra n Kyler, were involved in a horrific ATV accident. I got the call every parent dreads — the one that makes your heart stop.

They were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, and seeing them in pain, hooked up to machines, broke me in a way I can’t even describe. The doctors say they have a long, difficult road to recovery ahead —
